In a unexpected collaboration that challenges traditional predictions, the game developer has announced an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Revealed
According to the authorized release, "An unusual meeting draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of banned rituals and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the darkness." The storyline features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret cult.
The mission focuses on "strange tests and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Changes
The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview ends with a dramatic sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
